As one of the largest providers of specialist nuclear engineering and design services in the UK, we provide full lifecycle, integrated solutions. We specialise in turnkey systems incorporating front end design services, conceptual and detailed design, build, integration, test and commissioning support.
With approximately 30,000 sq ft of design studio and two assembly and test workshops served by overhead cranes of 10-15Te capacity in Manchester, INS provides integrated nuclear solutions including: in-cell mechanical handling systems, robotics, glove box systems and process equipment.
We have a strong capability in providing design solutions for control, electrical and instrumentation applications and a proven track record in providing design / manufacturing packages for systems that are installed inside high radiation cells and glove boxes.
Multi-disciplined teams provide engineering solutions in areas such as mechanical and remote handling systems, process systems, building services, power distribution systems etc.
Often working on high profile projects, we adopt a partnership approach to help solve complex problems and provide integrated equipment systems including sophisticated hardware and software control solutions.
