As one of the largest providers of specialist nuclear engineering and design services in the UK, we have a number of "experts in their field", offering stand alone consultancy and expert council services.
This Consultancy Service provides you with access to individuals, our "Consultants" either: work at our facilities to support you or work as part of your organisation for limited periods.
Consultants are available for:
- Safety Cases
- Regulatory Interface
- Waste treatment strategy / Business case optioneering and development
- Project Management
- Specialist engineering in areas such as: Reactor Fuel Routes, Fuel / Remote Handling in ponds / caves etc.
In addition to the above, Specialist Advisory Services, normally employed on engineering projects, can be provided on a stand alone basis. These include:
- Seismic design independent validation
- Compliance review against mechanical regulations (Machinery Directive / CE Marking / LOLER)
- Compliance review against electrical regulations (EMC / Low Voltage)
- Compliance review against pressure equipment regulations (PED)
Front End Project Definition often falls under the heading of Consultancy. Here we offer specialist teams to work with Clients or, from Client Requirement Specifications, to undertake Optioneering Studies. These are underpinned by concept designs, risk management and underpinning cost estimates with option recommendation / selection, to present the optimum business and technical solution.
