HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
It is company policy to ensure that all personnel who are visiting or working on an INS site or a customer site which falls under our control, are safe and that all sites are compliant with current Health and Safety legislation and company standards.
Overall responsibility for the policy lies with the Managing Director, however, both management and employees have a responsibility for ensuring not only the safety of themselves but of others.
The company are committed to:
- Ensuring that the policy and procedures are appropriate to the nature of the business and are documented, implemented and maintained.
- Preventing injury and ill health and will continue to improve performance in Occupational Health Managment.
- Complying with all applicable legislation requirements and any other requirements which INS may subscribe to.
- Establishing a framework for setting and reviewing Occupational Health and Safety objectives.
- Communicating its policy to any persons under INS control or any other interested parties, and that individual personnel are aware of their own obligations.
- Providing training, information and instruction to enable all work activities to be performed in a safe manner.
- Control of all substances, noise or other general hazards in the working environment.
- Encouraging employee participation in developing a pro-active safety culture.
- Providing a safe working environment which includes business travel.
